Oceanwaves Junior School Debate and Public Speaking Team qualified to represent Zimbabwe at The PriDC Debate Tournament at Beira International School in Beira Mozambique where they battled and competed against other SADC Countries in Debate, Public Speaking and Relay Speaking.

Representing Team Zimbabwe was Samsider Gatsi (Captain) Rufaro Chikova, Diana Gatsi, Kudzaishe Bakasa, Kudzaishe Toriro, Munoshamisa Chibune and Anesu Takarindwa.

Our Relay Team led by our Captain Samsider Gatsi scooped SADC 2nd Position in Public Speaking along with Diana Gatsi and Rufaro Chikova. This made them qualify to represent Zimbabwe and SADC at the Africa Debate Tournament hosted by Kenya in November 2024. We are still celebrating our Public Speakers for their outstanding achievements. They will be awarded the prestigious Golden Badge Awards for their achievements.
